Perhaps something happened this summer, last summer or ten summers ago and now you are ready to write about it. This class is for anyone who has been wanting to write but for some reason hasn’t been able to start. I’ve been known to extract stories out of the most stingy pens. These classes will use lectures, readings, examples, exercises, workshop, and rewrites to get you through the first draft of whatever has been haunting you at night (or during the day!) But most of all these classes will be heart-centered and focused on creating a supportive, non-judgemental environment for each student.
For September, every Tuesday night I will be teaching at my new home in Mt. Washington 7:30-9:30 pm the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th. The tuition is $200 and i’ll even add a “5th class” which will be extensive developmental notes on your final piece to take with you into your next revision.
I am happy to offer some deals! If you have taken a class with me before, take $50 off your tuition. Come with a friend and you each take $25 off your tuition.
